Burly brand of indie
Originally published a few years ago
Closer in spirit to the likes of Quasi than, say, The White Stripes, Vinyl Are My Pants continues the rare tradition of indie-rock duos. Citing the appropriate influences of Guided By Voices and Blonde Redhead, the brother-sister combo of Jack and Marty Dunn plays a stripped-down but burly brand of indie noise akin to their aforementioned forefathers, or a particularly cranky Modest Mouse.
